Tom Shrader Celebration of Life

We are saddened to announce that Tom was peacefully promoted to heaven on January 13, 2019.  Over the last few years Tom struggled with many health issues and yet was persistent in sharing God’s word through the pain and struggle.  Toward the end of 2018, Tom began his battle with skin cancer which aggressively metastasized throughout his body.  Over the last few days Tom continued his special sense of humor and was surrounded by Hawkeye memorabilia and family as he passed peacefully at his home last Sunday night.  Today Tom is free of pain and with Jesus. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sandy and Tom’s children & grandchildren.

 Many of you have written to PL through the years with stories of how Tom’s teachings have impacted your lives. He had a knack for explaining the bible in a way that was relatable to everyday life. Frank Switzer has graciously offered to teach PL this week as a tribute to Tom.  Moving forward, the weekly bible study will be discontinued yet Sharon will continue to maintain the website offering Tom’s teaching throughout the years.  A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at Scottsdale Bible Church on February 2, 2019 at 10 am.
